Measurements: First of all you must provide me with accurate measurements of your body. I will send you a measurement chart with instructions on how to measure. It can also be helpful to me, when making your pattern, if you send pictures of yourself in something tight or a corset that fits you well.
Design process: I´m fond of working with new ideas. If you would like a design radically different from the styles I’ve made before, you will have to convey your idea to me by sending descriptions, sketches and pictures by email. I will let you know what is possible and we will agree on the final design before I proceed with the work.
Mock-up fitting: A mock-up is a fast version of the real corset. The purpose is to test the pattern and evaluate the fit. I will send the mock-up to you and you will have to return pictures of yourself from all angels wearing the mock-up. You also have to tell me how it feels, if it is uncomfortable in some places and we will discuss alterations. The mock-up is obligatory for overbust styles but optional for underbusts.
The corsets: The lining will be black coutil unless otherwise is requested. I use a combination of spiral steel and flat steel for boning. A twill tape is inserted in the waist line for reinforcement.
Payment: I will ask a fee of 25% of the final amount when I´m ready to make the mock-up / begin the work on your underbust. The rest I will charge when the corset is ready to send. I use Pay Pal.
